Brandy Harris has always been deeply passionate about the birth world, but she didn’t start to take it seriously until her early 20s when she decided she wanted to start a family of her own. As she and her husband tried to conceive, she realized just how few options there were for new moms. She decided that she would get trained as a birth doula. In 2007, she was certified and started Willow Birth Services. Then, in 2009, she finally became pregnant with twin boys of her own. She used a birth doula and a midwife to have an unmedicated hospital birth. She now uses both professional and personal experience with each client she helps.
Services
Brandy is a certified midwife who will work with you to have your ideal delivery through Willow Birth Services. She gives you several options. You can give birth at home, or you can deliver at OKC Birth Center, a birth center that she co-owns with Taryn Goodwin. No matter which you choose, you will have a delivery that centers you throughout your care.
For your prenatal visits, you will meet with Brandy at her Willow Birth office. She will work with you to create your perfect birth plan and ensure you have the resources you need to make it a possibility. Brandy uses evidence-based information and will educate you throughout every step of your pregnancy. She is a certified HypnoBirthing practitioner and can assist if you choose to have a water birth. Throughout labor, she will be your biggest advocate. Once your baby is born, she will provide several home visits to be sure you are on the road to recovery.
Specialty
If you want a different primary provider, Willow Birth Services offers services as an assistant, serving as a second midwife throughout your birth. With this option, she will complement your primary midwife and ensure you are never without care. She also offers services as a virtual birth consultant, where she will provide you with advice and resources leading up to your birth.
