The OKC Birth Center is a cozy space created by midwives who are passionate about putting control of delivery back into the hands of parents. Taryn Goodwin and Brandy Harris founded the center in April of 2021 after years of dreaming and careful planning. They put their hearts into their work, curating warm rooms with modern decorations and all the amenities you could need for your birth. They have also added to their team to ensure you have comprehensive care throughout every step of your pregnancy and delivery. From the early appointments through the postpartum stage, this place is here for it all!
Services
When you plan your delivery at OKC Birth Center, your care will start from the very beginning of your pregnancy. They have four affiliated midwives you can choose from for your prenatal care. With each appointment, they are going to give you plenty of time to chat through your birth plan and educate you on all your options. Trust me, as you approach your due date, you are going to feel totally prepared!
The birth center itself is warm and spacious, with individual suites outfitted with everything you could need. You’ll have a large bed, a private bathroom, and a tub for hydrotherapy. You will also have access to a kitchen where you or your partner can prep food. Once your baby is born, you will have plenty of time to bond before you head home to recover in your own space.
