Adventurers of all ages can enjoy various exciting, family-friendly activities throughout the zoo’s extensive grounds. Furthermore, activities include camel rides, the Children’s Zoo Barnyard, a train, lorikeet feeding, flamingo feeding, giraffe feeding, rhino feedings, stingray encounters, a carousel, and a safari cart tour.
There are different dining options and food carts for families to grab a bite to eat during their day’s adventures. Whether you prefer casual cafe-style dining or luxurious two-story restaurants with floor-to-ceiling windows providing spectacular views, there are many places to eat throughout the zoo’s property.

Science Museum Oklahoma houses over 390,000 square feet of hands-on, interactive science experiences, art, and history for families with kids of all ages. Popular exhibits include the Science Floor, at the heart of the museum, and features hundreds of activities where kids can learn to drive on two wheels, learn to move a 400-pound weight, and much more.
Kids can explore engineering and technology in the Tinkering Garage through fun science experiments. The Finity exhibit is also an awe-inspiring, engaging sculpture that features five spinning polyhedrons and is 25 feet tall. Visitors can stop and give it a spin, watching the mirrored stainless steel reflect on the Oklahoma skies.
In CurioCity, visitors can enjoy a 20,000-square-foot city where whimsical neighborhoods provide space for kids to play and learn. The Kirkpatrick Planetarium has been newly upgraded and plays full-dome movies daily. Additionally, museum admission includes all shows.
In Light Minded, kids can step into the dark and explore the science behind light. Through plasma tubes, the Shadow Stopper, the Tesla Coil, and lots of strobe lights and shadows, this brilliant gallery is also an unforgettable experience for kids of all ages.

Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City is a stunning 15-acre escape featuring lush greenery. Visitors of all ages can appreciate exploring the gardens’ spacious grounds and enjoy seasonal activities such as bulb displays, concerts, movies, classes, and children’s festivals. The Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory is open and features exterior grounds visitors can roam.
Myriad Botanical Gardens offers beautiful, vibrant greenery and feels like an oasis right in the city. This 15-acre botanical garden in downtown Oklahoma City is always free and open to the public.
Furthermore, this family-friendly garden setting is just a short walk from other attractions, including the Oklahoma City National Memorial, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and the Bricktown district. The gardens contain ornamental gardens, water features, a classic carousel, a children’s garden, a playground with adaptive equipment, and even an ice rink in the winter months.
